Damage from the 2015 earthquake in Nepal continues to prevent students from returning to school. Help us rebuild a safe environment for learning at Ananda Kuti.
The Ananda Kuti Vidhya Peeth is a historical Buddhist boarding high school in Kathmandu, Nepal that primarily serves vulnerable students from the surrounding community.
It was severely damaged in the 2015 magnitude-7.8 Gorkha earthquake, leaving multiple buildings with classrooms that are unsafe for use. Six years later, students and teachers are still using temporary shelters, and as a result, the school cannot serve as many students as before the earthquake.
Your donation will go directly towards retrofitting Buildings 6 and 9, two classroom buildings that were severely damaged in the earthquake.
