What we do…

to save lives through expert engineering.

Schools

We provide school building assessment, strengthening and rebuilding in an effort to provide safer education for children across the world.

Capacity Building

Training local tradesmen provides local knowledge and building practices that last generations. Our knowledge exchange empowers local construction companies to build stronger, safer buildings.

Housing

We offer project management and supervision for housing projects that strengthen communities where the risk of structural collapse is high.

Disaster Response

Our experience in response to disasters around the world provides real-world answers. We assess disasters and develop, implement and oversee repair plans that save lives.

Since 2011

We have been saving lives around the world

After the earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010, Dr. Miyamoto was heartbroken to see the number of structurally unsafe schools that reopened shortly after the earthquake. Haunted by the knowledge that these schools could not withstand another significant quake and by visions of more deceased children, Dr. Miyamoto started a focused effort to rebuild dangerous schools in Haiti. These children should be able to obtain an education without risking their very lives to do so. Since then we have branched out to other parts of the world and it is our mission to provide safety to 10,000 lives each year and by 2023, provide safety to 200,000 lives per year.
